2026 is the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. To help celebrate this historic occasion, the Council Tool Co. will include special marking, on select axe models, that are forged specifically within the 2026 calendar year. Most of our axes have a stamp marking the year they were forged, and some select models will have the year ’26 omitted and replaced with a symbolic American Flag. These select models will be based on the forging schedule, which is created by the ongoing demand/sales, and existing inventory at the plant. This will be a rolling change, for only those select axes that are forged within 2026 and will not be an across-the-board release of all models. We at the Council Tool Co. are proud to be one of the last remaining axe companies in the U.S., and we invite you to join us in celebrating our country’s origin.
