The company has manufactured continuously since its founding in 1886 by John Pickett Council. Fourth- and fifth-generation Council family members work in and manage the company to this day. We have operated in three centuries by manufacturing a premium product that provides exceptional value. We stand behind the items that we sell – Council Tool guarantees products to be free from defects of workmanship and material.
However in the event that a customer of any distributor experiences a quality issue, we’ll work with that distributor to resolve it. Our expectation is that Council Tool distributors will be proactive in problem(s) resolution.
