Lock X-TractionTool
SKU: LXT-24Forcible entry tool used on commercial doors that are expensive, such as large glass entrance doors on store fronts and will give better control and efficiency when pulling rim-cylinders, keyed doorknobs, and dead-bolt locksets.
Where to BuyThis type of tool is often used on commercial doors that are expensive, such as large glass entrance doors on store fronts. Replacing a $100 lock is less expensive to the property owner than a $3k-10k glass door.
The LXT-24 (24 in. Lock X-traction Tool) will give better control and efficiency when pulling rim-cylinders, keyed doorknobs, and dead-bolt locksets. The curved geometries of the forked head allow for smooth, controlled, cam-action when prying in multiple directions.
The LXT-24 has the capability to grip the outer rim of an outward facing lock cylinder, pry it out and off, so that a screwdriver or other tool can reach into the lock and activate the deadbolt/latch mechanism. The other end of the tool has the same chisel point as our Roof Hook. It can be used to help force a door, open/clear a window, or punch out an exposed lockset from the door.
The LXT-24 will be a complimentary tool for our TD30 & TD24 Halligans, as we expand our forcible entry line of tools.
- Designed for storefronts and commercial doors—protects expensive glass by targeting the lock. (Cheaper to replace a $100 lock than a $10,000 door.)
- Pulls rim cylinders, doorknobs, and deadbolts with ease.
- 24″ OAL, 1″ DOM handle with forged ends.
- Curved fork delivers smooth, multi-directional cam-action prying. Grips and removes outward-facing cylinders to expose latch mechanisms.
- Chisel end punches locks, forces doors, or clears windows.
- Pairs perfectly with our TD30 & TD24 Halligans
Efficient, effective and controlled.
